Mobile IV in Cabo: When to Walk Into the Clinic vs Have It Come to Your Hotel

Cabo Walk-In Clinic offers both: walk into our downtown clinic in Cabo San Lucas, or have our medical team bring the IV to your hotel, villa or yacht. Which is right for you? Here’s the practical guide.

When walk-in is better

If you’re already in the downtown Cabo San Lucas area (Marina, El Médano), it’s faster to walk in than wait for our team to come to you. You’ll see the doctor, get the IV, and be out within an hour. Walk-in is also the right choice if you might need lab tests, X-rays or a hospital escalation — those happen faster from clinic than from a hotel room.

When mobile (to your hotel) is better

If you’re feeling too unwell to leave bed, if you’re staying in the Tourist Corridor, San José del Cabo, or a remote villa, or if you have multiple people in your group who need treatment, mobile is usually the better answer. The medical team brings everything — IV pole, fluids, medications, monitor — so it’s the full clinic experience in your room.

What’s the price difference

Walk-in IV starts from $80 USD for the doctor visit plus IV cost. Mobile to your hotel is $200 USD doctor visit plus IV cost. The mobile premium covers the trip and the convenience.

Same medical quality either way

Both options are doctor-supervised, COFEPRIS-licensed, with prescription medications available when indicated. The difference is logistics — not clinical quality.

Most house calls in Los Cabos arrive within 45 minutes.

Do you do mobile to yachts?

Yes — dock and slip number, we bring everything.

What about late-night mobile IVs?

Is there a group discount for mobile to a villa with multiple guests?

Possible — call us with party size and we’ll quote.
