IV Therapy on the East Cape, Including Cabo Pulmo

A licensed Mexican physician coordinates mobile IV therapy to East Cape addresses — Cabo Pulmo, Los Barriles, La Ribera, Buena Vista — across the open Sea of Cortez coast.

The East Cape is the quiet side of Baja’s southern tip — fishing villages, dive shops, off-grid villas, and the protected reef of Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. Medical infrastructure thins out east of Los Cabos international airport. Mobile IV with a physician is a real service gap we fill.

East Cape dispatch is the longest in our network — 90 to 180 minutes depending on the address — but the medical need is highest, particularly after extended dive days, fishing trips, or remote-villa weddings.

Where we dispatch

  • Cabo Pulmo: dive shops, off-grid villas, the small village.
  • Los Barriles: windsurfing community, residential.
  • La Ribera and Buena Vista: small hotels, sportfishing.
  • East Cape Road luxury developments: Costa Palmas, Four Seasons Resort area.

Common East Cape visits

Post-dive dehydration with possible decompression-day caution, post-sportfishing hangover IVs, mid-trip resets at remote villas, occasional sick-day IVs. Decompression sickness is hospital territory — we never run “post-bend” IVs at off-grid villas; we coordinate ER transport via our ambulance and medical transport service.

Doctor-supervised every drip

Every IV reviewed by a Mexican-licensed physician at intake. East Cape calls always include a phone screen with the doctor before dispatch — the long drive means we want the visit to be the right intervention.

Dispatch

East Cape: 90–180 minutes typical, longer for remote off-road addresses. A dispatch fee for far East Cape may apply; we quote on booking.

Beyond the IV

Same team handles 24/7 house-call MD, pharmacy delivery, and hospital escalation via our partner hospital in San José del Cabo.

Cabo Walk-In Clinic is independent.

Educational, not medical advice. Cabo Walk-In Clinic is a COFEPRIS-licensed medical clinic. IV therapy helps with and supports recovery; it is not emergency care. Decompression illness is a medical emergency — call 911 (066 in Mexico) and DAN Mexico immediately.
