1. Acceptance of terms
By booking a consultation with Cabo Walk-In Clinic (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Nature of the Service
The Service is international medical consultation from COFEPRIS-licensed Mexican physicians, delivered via secure video to patients located in the United States, Mexico, and other supported jurisdictions. We operate under Mexican Norma Oficial Mexicana NOM-024-SSA3-2012.
The Service is NOT:
- U.S. state-licensed telemedicine.
- A substitute for emergency medical care — for emergencies call 911 (US) or your local emergency services.
- A substitute for your U.S. primary care physician for ongoing chronic conditions.
- A pharmacy. Prescriptions, when issued, are filled by separate licensed pharmacy partners.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use the Service. Pediatric consultations require a parent or guardian and must be arranged via WhatsApp.
4. Scope of consultation
Consultations are appropriate for non-emergency conditions including but not limited to: UTI, sinus infection, cold/flu, doctor’s notes, non-controlled prescription refills, travel medicine, skin concerns, women’s and men’s health, GLP-1 candidacy evaluation, and supportive counseling.
Consultations are NOT appropriate for: chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, suicidal thoughts, anaphylaxis, severe trauma, or any condition requiring immediate in-person evaluation. For these, call emergency services.
5. Prescriptions and controlled substances
When clinically appropriate, our physicians may issue Mexican prescriptions (Recetas Médicas) for non-controlled medications. We do NOT prescribe DEA Schedule II controlled substances (opioids, stimulants such as Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse), benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan), Z-drugs (Ambien), or any controlled substance via international consultation.
Off-label medication use (including GLP-1 agonists prescribed off-label) is a patient-physician shared decision made on a case-by-case basis. Outcomes are not guaranteed.
6. Pricing and payment
Standard consultation: $59 USD flat. Travel medicine consultation: $79 USD. Cabo Care+ membership: $149 USD/year. Pricing is displayed at the time of booking. We do not bill U.S. insurance.
HSA/FSA cards accepted. Receipts provided automatically; Mexican-format superbills on request for possible out-of-network reimbursement (not guaranteed).

8. User responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete information about your symptoms and medical history.
- Provide a quiet, private environment with reliable internet for the video consultation.
- Follow the care plan provided and seek in-person care if symptoms worsen.
- Do not record consultations without our physician’s consent.
- Do not share your patient portal credentials.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that any specific outcome will result from your consultation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cabo Walk-In Clinic’s total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific consultation giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for delays, missed consultations, or service interruptions caused by your equipment, internet connectivity, or factors outside our reasonable control.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Disputes are first resolved by good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, by binding arbitration in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico under Mexican law.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for clinically inappropriate use of the Service. Your medical records remain accessible under our retention policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; we will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
