Telemedicine with an English-Speaking Doctor in Mexico
A video visit is often the smartest first move when you’re unwell on vacation — fast, affordable and entirely in English. Here is how telemedicine works for visitors in Cabo and what it can do for you.
What a video visit is good for
A bilingual doctor can, by video: assess your symptoms, advise on treatment, prescribe medication for many common issues, and tell you whether you need an in-person exam. It’s ideal for stomach bugs, colds, minor infections, prescription refills, UTIs and general worry.
What it can’t replace
Telemedicine can’t physically examine you, run tests, or handle emergencies. If the doctor needs to listen to your chest, look in your ear, or you have red-flag symptoms, they’ll arrange a house call or direct you to a hospital.
How it works in Cabo
Book a video visit (ours is $79), connect from your hotel, and talk to a bilingual physician. If you’re prescribed medication, we can deliver it to your hotel; if you need bloodwork, our mobile lab can come to you. You receive an English invoice for insurance.
Prescriptions by telemedicine
A licensed Mexican doctor can prescribe many medications after a video assessment, though controlled substances require stricter, usually in-person evaluation. Have a photo of any current medication handy.
This article is general information for visitors, not medical advice. If symptoms are severe or worrying, see a doctor — we can have one at your hotel 24/7.
