MRI Cost in Cabo, Mexico — What Tourists Pay for Advanced Imaging

MRI is the most expensive imaging modality but the right answer for many musculoskeletal, neurological and soft-tissue indications. Here are 2026 prices for tourists.

Standard MRI cost ranges

Single-region MRI (knee, shoulder, lumbar spine) at a private hospital in Cabo typically runs US $600-$1,500. With contrast: $900-$2,000. Brain MRI: $700-$1,800.

Multi-region or specialized MRI

Cardiac MRI: $2,000-$3,500. Whole spine: $1,500-$3,500.
